In my previous article on Financial Freedom Blueprint, I wrote that using this Blueprint can be a powerful tool to help kickstart your action plans to achieve your financial goals. I also shared a Google Sheet template which I created to act like a template.
You can get the Google Sheet template for the blueprint here:
GOOGLE SHEET - FINANCIAL FREEDOM BLUEPRINT COPY
Using this template can be difficult for some people as I created it based on my own understanding and I wanted to simplify the Blueprint creation through semi-automation. Most of the fields are quite straight forward and easy to fill, but some may will require more explanation from me. Anyway I will try to explain as much as I can. Feel free to copy this google sheet into your own Google Drive account and make any modifications that you may like.
I will have a few sheets. You will only need to make changes to one sheet that is BLUEPRINT PLANNING. The other sheets we do not need to touch.
I will have 7 rows. Each No will represent a Blueprint. So your first blueprint will be under No 1 (
I left No 0 as a sample). Only cells with this
background color will need to be filled. This part should be easy but I will elaborate on IMAGE HTTP (1 and 2).
IMAGE HTTP
For IMAGE HTTP, there are 3 few ways you can do this to add images into your blueprint.
OPTION 1 : PUBLIC IMAGE
You will only need to enter the URL of any public image that you can find online. For instance, you search for a Ferrari car through Google Images. Just click on that image until you land into the website, look for the image on that website and copy image address.
OPTION 2: UPLOAD THE IMAGE INTO YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE
This option is a bit tricky. You will need to upload the image into your google drive, make the image public, get the shared URL, change the format of the URL. It is abit troublesome to do this so you may want to choose either option 1 or option 3 if you prefer less hassle.
For example in Google Drive, the Shared URL is https://drive.google.com/file/d/10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg/view?usp=sharing
Copy 10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg from this URL, and substitute it with <Image_URL> here:
Google Drive URL format : http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=<Image_URL>
This is the URL you should put into Google Sheet:
http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg
OPTION 3: INSERT THE IMAGE DIRECTLY INTO THE CELL
Directly view to the Blueprint sheet (eg: BluePrint 1, BluePrint 2,etc), Highlight the cell, go to the Insert tab, choose Image -> Image in Cell.
Choose the Image and you should be able to see this image in the Blueprint.
Choose the image (upload or search the Internet) and Insert

Take note that doing this will clear the excel formula in the cell
MILESTONES
After you have completed a milestone, just to tick on the checkbox and it will be reflected in the Blueprint page.
PRINT OR EXPORT THE BLUEPRINT INTO PDF
Once your Blueprint is ready you can now either print your blueprint or create a pdf (which you can save it in your phone or PC).
PRINT
SAVE TO PDF
