Create a Financial Freedom Blueprint Using Google Sheet Template

In my previous article on Financial Freedom Blueprint, I wrote that using this Blueprint can be a powerful tool to help kickstart your action plans to achieve your financial goals. I also shared a Google Sheet template which I created to act like a template.

You can get the Google Sheet template for the blueprint here:

GOOGLE SHEET - FINANCIAL FREEDOM BLUEPRINT COPY

Using this template can be difficult for some people as I created it based on my own understanding and I wanted to simplify the Blueprint creation through semi-automation. Most of the fields are quite straight forward and easy to fill, but some may will require more explanation from me. Anyway I will try to explain as much as I can. Feel free to copy this google sheet into your own Google Drive account and make any modifications that you may like.

I will have a few sheets. You will only need to make changes to one sheet that is BLUEPRINT PLANNING. The other sheets we do not need to touch.

I will have 7 rows. Each No will represent a Blueprint. So your first blueprint will be under No 1 (I left No 0 as a sample).  Only cells with this background color will need to be filled. This part should be easy but I will elaborate on IMAGE HTTP (1 and 2).

IMAGE HTTP

For IMAGE HTTP, there are 3 few ways you can do this to add images into your blueprint.

OPTION 1 : PUBLIC IMAGE

You will only need to enter the URL of any public image that you can find online. For instance, you search for a Ferrari car through Google Images. Just click on that image until you land into the website, look for the image on that website and copy image address

OPTION 2UPLOAD THE IMAGE INTO YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE

This option is a bit tricky. You will need to upload the image into your google drive, make the image public, get the shared URL, change the format of the URL. It is abit troublesome to do this so you may want to choose either option 1 or option 3 if you prefer less hassle.

For example in Google Drive, the Shared URL is https://drive.google.com/file/d/10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg/view?usp=sharing

Copy 10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg from this URL, and substitute it with <Image_URL> here:

Google Drive URL format : http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=<Image_URL>

This is the URL you should put into Google Sheet:
http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=10KFBTAzaKGhpKx3hrqyfPrJLZqBNB4wg

OPTION 3: INSERT THE IMAGE DIRECTLY INTO THE CELL

Directly view to the Blueprint sheet  (eg: BluePrint 1, BluePrint 2,etc), Highlight the cell, go to the Insert tab, choose Image -> Image in Cell.

Choose the Image and you should be able to see this image in the Blueprint.
Choose the image (upload or search the Internet) and Insert

Take note that doing this will clear the excel formula in the cell

MILESTONES

After you have completed a milestone, just to tick on the checkbox and it will be reflected in the Blueprint page.

PRINT OR EXPORT THE BLUEPRINT INTO PDF

Once your Blueprint is ready you can now either print your blueprint or create a pdf (which you can save it in your phone or PC).

Sell Put Spread Strategy on SPY To Generate Monthly Income

I was introduced into the world of Options Trading when I joined a Value Investing Course by a stock investing guru named  Sean Seah . One was the strategies I learned from this course is called VIOS (Value Investing Option Strategy). This strategy aims to consistently make money by selling naked put options to collect premiums on fundamentally good stocks with minimal risk (worst case scenario you are forced to buy that stock if your option is exercised). Anyway I won't be talking too much about the Fundamentals of Options as you can find many free videos of these on YouTube and paid courses on Udemy. I have been selling mostly naked put options to collect premium for 4 years using the ThinkOrSwim platform and I was collecting good premiums making some small profit. One strategy I used was to keep rolling my option if it went In-The-Money (ITM) on expiration day . However I discovered that  there is a huge risk involved with this Naked Selling Option Strategy even when...

How to Set OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other Order) in ThinkOrSwim

I posted an article about collecting premiums using the  Sell Put Spread Strategy on SPY . Click here  to learn more about that strategy. The Strategy will require me to create 2 separate orders after the entering the trade. The first Order is a Stop Limit Order to take profit  (75%) and another order to Cut Loss (-150%). Profit Target : 75% Stop Loss : -150% One way to place the 2 orders above is to create an Advanced Order called OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other Order). So if any one of the 2 Orders gets triggered, it will Cancel the other Order. Here is a guide how to create an OCO order in ThinkOrSwim for the above Put Spread Strategy : After your order is filled, go ahead and create a normal Closing Order for your vertical spread You will see a Close Limit Order such as this. Click on Advanced Order Choose OCO With OCO picked, Right click on the first Stop Limit order → Create duplicate order .  You will see the second Order here (a duplicate of the first order) ...

A Study in Technical Analysis : Candlestick Part 2 - One Black Crow

Here is the link to my previous article on A Study in Technical Analysis : Candlestick Part 1 - One White Soldier  :   Link ONE BLACK CROW One Black Crow candlestick pattern is a Bearish Reversal Pattern used to predict the reversal of the current uptrend. The pattern consists of two consecutive long-bodied candlesticks - The first being a Bullish Candlestick followed by a Bearish Candlestick. This candlestick pattern rarely appears and if it does appear it can be quite strong. The One Black Crow should have the following  characteristics. Bullish Candle followed by a Bearish Candle.  If it is during a long uptrend, The Bullish Candle must be a new high in the downtrend(Counter Trend Trade).   1.   The Bearish Candle must open Below the Close of the Bullish Candle Open2 Lower than Close1   2. Must make a lower high. High2 Lower than High1   3. The Bearish Candle must close below the low of the Bullish Candle. Close2 Lowe...
